Adam Krokiewicz

(February 11, 1890 in Cracow, died. 4 Ma rch 1977 in Warsaw), Polish classical philologist, professor at W arsaw University, member of the Polish Academy of Sciences. He wa s the son of Anthony (doctor) and Helena DoerflerĂłw. He attended the gymnasium of St.. Jack in Cracow in the years 1908-1912, he studied classical philology and philosophy at Jagiellonian University in Cracow and Vienna, among his teachers were in Krakow, Kazimierz Morawski and Leo Sternbach. He worked as a teacher of ancient languages in the Gymnasium.
